``MasterLap Ultra fine 8000 grit Ceramic multi surface polishing stone. The ultra is the latest product from MasterLap and is quickly becoming the standard that all other hard polishing stones are measured. It is a Ceramic stone that is extremely dense, hard, and flat. These stones are made of high purity ultra-fine synthesized gem type compounds, precisely matched in grain size. This Ceramic stone is greatly advanced from conventional lightly vitrified or bonded abrasives stones claiming to be ceramic. The MasterLap Ultra Ceramic is of diamond like hardness, and efficiently super-polishes hardened high grade tool and stainless steels. MasterLap Ultra has two distinctly different, flattened, and textured surfaces. The coarse textured side cleans the surface and cuts the ruff surface down left from previous abrasive steps. The opposite side of the stone further polishes and packs the surface to a mirror like finish.
