| Just a note on Ice Speed Blades. Many are selling blades with the
factory supplied radius. The factories, as good as many are, do in general a very poor job
at matching, centering, and radiusing blades. It simply takes too long to do it well.
This is a critical factor effecting performance. Simply sharpening a factory radiused blade
will only yield an entry level setup at best, regardless how much time is spent doing it. Much
talk is also given to pre-bent, adjustable bend, and machined bent blades. There is much
misinformation on the topic, but one thing is certain: Factory bends of any kind are not
close to what advanced and intermediate level skaters require to stay with their competitors.
